WHAT IS U.B.C.S.?

 

If you’re a Resident Evil fan, you already know.

​

The Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service is part of the fictional Umbrella Corporation universe. My truck is a real-world tribute built around that theme: U.B.C.S. Rural Operations, complete with Umbrella branding, tactical styling, lights, equipment, and an entirely unnecessary hood-mounted minigun named Girtha.

 

No, Umbrella Corporation is not real.

 

No, Girtha is not real.

 

Yes, I have way too much fun with this.

BUT IT'S ALSO MY ACTUAL WORK TRUCK.

Underneath all the Resident Evil nonsense, this is also my everyday commercial vehicle.

 

I’m an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot and professional real estate photographer serving Central New Mexico through Umbrella Aerial Photography LLC.

I produce real estate photography, aerial imagery, video, 3D tours, floor plans and other property media for agents, homeowners and businesses throughout the area.

 

So if you see a heavily Umbrella-branded truck parked outside somebody’s house…

They're probably just listing the house.

 

WHY BUILD IT?

 

Because work doesn't have to be boring.

I love Resident Evil, vehicles, drones, photography and building weird things. The U.B.C.S. truck lets all of those interests collide into one rolling project—and it happens to make a pretty memorable commercial vehicle.

​

People photograph it. Kids point at it. Resident Evil fans recognize it. Random people ask questions.
